LIMB-Q KIDS: A new patient reported outcome measure for children with lower limb deformities - H Chhina

LIMB-Q Kids is a new patient reported outcome measure for children with lower limb deformities (LLD). Content development included a systematic review of literature and an international qualitative study.
Children with LLD and their parents across 5 sites internationally were interviewed with a goal to elicit concepts of interest important to patients. Based on these interviews, items were written and scales were developed. Scales and items were further refined based on debriefing interviews with children and clinicians from multiple sites around the world.

Translation and cross-cultural adaptation of LIMB-Q kids is being conducted to make conceptually equivalent versions in different languages. An international field-test in multiple countries to perform item reduction and to establish the psychometric properties of LIMB-Q Kids is being conducted.
