Assistive Technology - L Puli
WHO
undertook a mixed methods study to explore the experiences of both users and
providers of AT to better understand the impacts of COVID-19 on the AT
ecosystem, and to learn how better to respond to similar future crises. Evidence from surveys and interviews of AT
users and providers uncovered gaps in service delivery and significant
impacts on the quality of life, but also at times agile responses by both
service providers and civil society organizations, adapting rapidly as
policies and procedures changed.
