ISPO UK’s long term vision is to develop and encourage the use of an online anonymised outcomes registry for prosthetics.
AMPutee Reported Outcome Measures (AMPROM), developed by ISPO UK MS, offers both patient and clinical portals, with randomly generated codes associating between prescriptions input by the prosthetists and survey responses from the patients themselves. A third “researcher” portal allows open-access data for scientists and students to “mine” the registry for observations.
This project is currently at trial stage.
