Abstract
This paper will discuss
The
MDT management of a TTA amputee with longstanding contralateral upper limb
absence.
The MDT role in pre amputation assessment,
pre prosthetic rehabilitation and prosthetic rehabilitation in a regional
amputee rehabilitation service.
The effect of selection of a lower amputation level
on post op recovery and prosthetic mobility, the implementation of pre
prosthetic rehab tools (PPAM aid) , the prescribing Physiotherapist's role in
pain management in the prosthetic rehabilitation phase and plans for future
review to address outstanding goals.
